Robyn Humphries
CEO & Founder
Robyn Humphries is a proud Nyoongar woman and the Founder
and CEO of Moorlanga Healing, a Culturally Safe, Trauma-Informed Counselling service that bridges Western psychology and Traditional Aboriginal Healing. Her passion for healing work is deeply rooted in personal history both her grandmother and great-grandmother were part of the Stolen Generations. Their experiences and resilience have guided Robyn’s lifelong commitment to truth-telling, cultural restoration and community healing. With qualifications in Graduate diploma of psychology and master's in counselling, Robyn brings both clinical expertise and cultural authority to her practice. She has worked extensively across the mental health, justice, out-of-home care and alcohol and other drugs sectors supporting Aboriginal individuals and families to reconnect with identity, community and spirit.
Through Moorlanga Healing, Robyn leads a growing team of counsellors, Elders and traditional healers who walk alongside people on their healing journey. Services include individual and group therapy, on-Country healing, school-based wellbeing programs and cultural supervision all grounded
in the belief that “our culture is our healing.”
Robyn’s work honours the legacy of her ancestors and creates
a culturally safe path forward for the next generations. Her vision is to
ensure that Aboriginal people have access to healing that recognises both
historical trauma and cultural strength and restores wellbeing on our own
terms.
“We are more than what happened to us. Healing is possible".
