Group Healing Circle

Moorlanga Healing Circles offer a safe supportive space for Aboriginal men, women, children and families to come together in cultural connection, storytelling and shared healing. These circles are built on the principles of yarning, respect, relational accountability and cultural identity. Healing Circles are not counselling sessions they are cultural healing experiences guided by Aboriginal facilitators each circle honours the collective wisdom and strength of our people while supporting individual journeys of healing.

What Happens in a Healing Circle & Who can Join?

  • Cultural Yarning
  • Cultural painting, sand stories, weaving and symbolic work
  • Nature-Based Practice: Grounding on Country, mindfulness, and seasonal reflection
  • Emotional Release and Resilience: Guided practices to support emotional regulation and growth

  • Children and Young People (ages 7–17)
  • Women’s Healing Circles 
  • Men's Healing Circles
  • Family Yarning Circles (parent–child connection and relational healing)
